SWALLOWS KEEP, BRANSTON LOCKS

Hillside View

Hillside View will deliver approximately 103 new homes in a mix of types and tenures, with a 7.5% provision for affordable housing delivered through a mix of social rent and shared ownership properties. The homes will be low-density, typically two-storey, and set within a high-quality landscaped setting. Homes will be built using a coherent mix of materials, such as Staffordshire Slate and Burton Red Brick materials, reflecting the character of the local area.

Integrated low-carbon technologies and sustainability features, such as EV charging points and enhanced building fabrics, will promote energy efficiency, reduce energy bills, and minimise environmental impact. We are committed to building high-quality and high-efficiency homes, where our residents can live well, feel part of a community, and adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. The majority of our homes built in 2024 were designed to achieve an Energy Performance Certificate rating of B.

A well-connected network of green infrastructure, footpaths, and cycleways will link Hillside View with public realm areas and the wider Branston Locks development. Landscaping and SuDS will support local biodiversity, flood mitigation, and natural surface water drainage. Shared surface streets that prioritise pedestrians will encourage residents to walk and cycle more, supporting the adoption of sustainable transport methods.
